On March 13 to 14, SCPG LU organized a two-day trip to Xiachuan Island for the Group’s female employees in Shenzhen.

After three hours of bus and a brief cruise, the group arrived at the Wangfuzhou Resort located in the green Xiachuan Island. Wangfuzhou was located in the south of the island. It was said the Emperor of Song Dynasty jumped off the cliff in Xinhui, and the officials sought asylum in this place;that was how the name Wangfuzhou came from, which means the residence of the royal in Chinese. Surrounded on three sides by mountains, the sandy islet was extremely charming with its 1600-meter long white beach. The crescent-shape harbor faced the azure ocean; the breeze kissed coconut trees standing on the soft sand; the quiet fishing village decorated the coastline. It was truly a luxury for the urban citizens to sit and chat under the coconut trees with such beautiful scenery. All the staff enjoyed the leisure and comfort.

The next day, the group left the island for Mei Mansion, where the movie Let the Bullet Fly was shot. The overseas Chinese Mei clansman built the Mei Mansion in 1931. The building managed to preserve its original look after 70 years.

The employees enjoyed the trip very much. It was a time for them to embrace the nature and relax as well as an opportunity for them to get to know more the members on the team.
